3 DIY summer treats recipes to make your dog happy

Summer is here, and it’s time to enjoy your best moments of summer with your little dogs. The harsh summer heat may require you to pay extra attention to your dog! They need a little fresh treat from time to time to keep them happy. We have prepared for you the top 3 treat recipes that would help keep your dog comfortable and fresh in the heat of summer. This summer your little companion will be enjoying ice cream too! After all, sharing is caring!

-To begin we present to you Veggie-freez. It is the perfect recipe for dogs who refuse to eat their veggies. All you need is two cups of cooked meat, ¾ cup of fat-free yogurt, a small handful of finely chopped parsley (will help keep their breath smell better), one mashed cooked carrot, and finally 3 tablespoons of olive oil.

All you have to do is mix all the ingredients together and freeze them. The yogurt will help hold everything together!

- If your dog suffers from heat exhaustion that has caused skin problems, don't worry! We have the perfect solution for you! Coconut Ice Cream, it is delicious, healthy, and easy to make!

You will need one cup of organic coconut oil, a handful of blueberries, and a teaspoon of honey. First, you will need to place the coconut in a bowl over a pan of boiled water, once it softens add the honey and blueberries and shape them into bite-size balls. The last step is easy! Put them in the freezer and wait for the balls to harden, then you can serve them to your dog!

- For the last recipe we have prepared one that you and your dog can enjoy together, Watermelon Popsicle! This recipe is super refreshing and hydrating for the hottest days of summer. To prepare watermelon popsicles, you will need to mix watermelon juice (make sure you remove all seeds) with coconut milk. Put the mix in an ice mold in the freezer.

Use these treats to spoil your dog but be careful not to give them more than one or two at a time.
